Starting as a response to one of their largest telco customers who were in need of a fresh approach to IT managed services. Capana were able to create a business unit doing 70 % more work with 30 % less people and have since then grown with new customers as well as using IT operations personnel to provide world class support for revenue management and business intelligence customers.My daily tasks as a contact centre technician / application technician at Capana Operations has been a mix of the following, primarily working with the Telenor Denmark customer (in the Contact Centre- and peripheral system area):• Administering IT applications & servers - specifically IT operations and operating maturation hereof.• Ensuring backup and performing restores on older production systems. • I have been working with Nortel Enterprise ContactCentre 6 Systems (here included integrational operation-services as NCCT and CCMM; Multimedia, both Nortel IP- and digital technology), • Managing, and implemening new production system from Verint Impact360 / Witness Systems (Workforce-management system; "Blue Pumpkin").• Handling system operations on Netwise Switchboard Technology & Cisco (hw-sw), Magnetic North Optimise (call-recording) and CheckMate RTOL ("Real-Time-Online" - Realtime Monitoring).____________I chose to accept an offer from BAE Systems enabling me to work with mission critical projects on a technical level, build technical project management skills as well as expanding my intercommunicative- and cultural understanding by working with people from all over the world, both clients and colleagues.

The company delivered high quality broadband, mobile and VoIP on their own platform, furthermore the company offered insurances, newspaper, fitness, hardware etc. as part of the sold flex packages.I was initially contracted as a support consultant but functioned more as an in-house IT engineer, executing IT analytics on the company's IT-systems (in cooperation with the IT department, physically located in Copenhagen, DK), as well as a technical trainer for supporters (I trained co-workers in technical understanding and knowledge of relevant products). ____________I left WakyWaky in 2008 to pursue new and extended opportunities within IT Operations on the enterprise level at Telenor (through Capana Operations), enabling me to increase my span of complex technical capabilities while building extended operations knowledge within enterprise environments.
