Responsible, together with a team of 6 BCs, for all finance activities within Academedia adult education segment. The segment consists of 10 legal companies that are all active within the Swedish adult education industry. Segment total turnover 1,5 billion SEK and 2500 employees. The industry is characterized by fast changing demands and a need for continuously change of operations to adjust risk levels. The role also includes responsibility for digitalization cross all units and functions.

Nackademin carries out training in the fields of business education, vocational training and high school. The company had a turnover of SEK 120 million in 2011/2012 and had approximately 100 employees. The role was broad and included responsibility for the financial function (3 persons), newly started “Nackademin Business Education”, Marketing Department and business coach for other business area managers and CEO. This role also included responsibility for HR issues and union negotiations.

Newsec is Northern Europe’s largest real estate consultancy with business in eight countries. The company delivers a full-service offering including advisory-, transaction- and asset management services. The primary customer group is property owners and property investors. My role was a group management position reporting to Newsec CEO. Main responsibilities were development and execution of growth and profitability strategies. The main activity during the financial turmoil (2008-2009) was to drive a financial turnaround program. 2010 and onwards were more future oriented where growth strategies were top priority. The group is built around a Swedish mother company with local subsidiaries partly owned by local minorities. There for, my role also included formal board responsibility in the different subsidiaries. Board member in: Newsec Sweden AB, Newsec Advice AB (chairman), Newsec Investment AB (chairman), Newsec AS, ReSolution holdings UAB (Baltic holding company)Note: I was introduced to Newsec when holding a position at the owner-company, Stronghold Invest, as Executive trainee (march 2008-january 2009).
