Managing a multi-disciplinarian team of 6 analysts covering systems, process and technical analysis, regular and custom reporting from an Oracle database, examination of all claims over ½ a million pounds and regular surveys of inspectors to identify trends in construction. A 3 star team in the Best Companies run survey with a score 800.3. Oversight of project management, and representing Operation’s interests in all IT projects that impact the work of Operations. Business analyst on an Agile project to deliver dashboard-style management information to NHBC’s builder customers through an online reporting portal with a budget of 2500 developer days. Documented 150 user stories and expanded with over 250 business rules agreed with key users and senior managers from business. Led User Acceptance Testing, and designed and wrote SQL data export scripts to speed up and widen breadth of testing. This allowed testing to use real data in addition to test data.

Responsible for managing workload of the two systems Business Support Analysts within the Training & Analysis team. Attending Ops Senior Management, IT User Group and Data Custodian meetings. Lead the production of process maps for key business areas as part of a project to ensure regulatory compliance. Used these process maps to highlight gaps in systems and business processes, and to draw up requirements in agreement with senior management and key users. Worked closely with IT developers to deliver requirements through an Agile development methodology. Created UAT scenarios and coordinated users testing of the system changes.

Initiated and rolled out a project to replace hardware for 250 field based Inspectors. Built the business case to support investment of over £100,000 in hardware and developers. Worked with super-users to select hardware. Key benefits include time efficiency savings and removal of print & post workarounds by giving Inspectors full access to NHBC's IT systems.Project Manager, using PRINCE2 methodology, for project to reduce field staffs' workload synchronisation times. Developed business case supporting reports in Oracle SQL Developer, analysed data to reveal increasing trend in sync lengths and presented results to Project Board. Project benefits include reduced load on corporate database, closer data alignment on remote devices & central server, and improved data quality.Led key users and management to compile requirements from 5 business areas. Agreed prioritisation for a programme of process & data improvements. Produced detailed specifications and worked directly with developers to ensure correct interpretation for technical design. Led to reduced data duplication, clean-up of existing data and improved risk management.Designed in conjunction with senior managers, developed a suite of reports to aid data clean-up, measure performance, improve risk management and quantify project business benefits. Reports used by front-line field staff and board level executives, as well as externally.

Responsible for Building Inspectors’ and Health and Safety Advisors’ PDA and printer support. Led roll-out of a new system, with 3 teams to 300+ users. Created asset tracking database and procedures, creating and running SQL scripts to create reports and data fixes, monitoring overnight communications and creating procedures.

Responsible for phone messages, mail handling, validating information against Alpha database and editing and running SQL scripts.
