After a successful implementation of the Marine HVAC business plan, a new structure was introduced for the consolidation and exoansion of the business. The responsibility of consolidating and expanding the HVAC business, as an integrated part of Johnson Controls Marines (York Marine, Sabroe Marine) contracting branches, is placed in a newly formed structure, named Products and Production (P&P), covering both HVAC and Refrigeration. The P&P team is responsible for the areas: - Product development - External productions (OEM) - Technical sourcing - Standard documentation - Software development Leading the devised technical organization is a fantastic way to influence on our business continued growth and competence level improvement. This is further done thru my involvement as dotted-line responsible for our HVAC design team in Shanghai.
