I am an experienced technical Product Manager with roots in R&D, and as such I cover a good length the information chain spanning from customer need to R&D implementation. With a good ability to understand and translate customer needs to comprehensible requirement, required architecture, potential solutions and designs, I am a qualified counterpart in many cross-functional interfaces and to stakeholders in a product development process, as well as in a pre-sales process. I have a pragmatic and solution oriented mindset, with a keen eye risks and pitfalls. I have for many years worked in a global company with international outsourcing partners, sub suppliers and customers. In this environment teams change frequently and have very versatile compositions. I believe I work well in these teams, and have a reputation as very competent and highly credible team member.My programmer’s and architect background gives me a solid understanding of the inner workings of the HW and SW of applications, monitoring systems and business intelligence applications. This enables me to quickly assess system and customer requirements for a snappy evaluation of feasibility, complexity and cost. Through this understanding, I strive to turn opportunities into solutions and product features that can be implemented and maintained with resource effectiveness and still offer great value to the end users. My main interest lies in Information and Communication Technology, and it is the ever-changing nature of this domain that provides me with the motivation to always seek an understanding of the direction of technology’s evolution. With in-depth knowledge of data and telecom networks, I have a good insight into the challenges and potentials of both. My area of expertise is in the Ethernet, IP and data domain, covering both hardware and software aspects of monitoring solutions, from data acquisition, through data processing and information manipulation.
