Mechanical Engineer with experience in large scale product development. Strong professional skills in Analysis, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), simulation, Leadership, and Project Management. Lifelong passion for bicycle experiences and tinkering with bicycle mechanics.For my undergraduate Senior Project I worked with three other undergraduate students to design and build a working Thermoacoustic refrigeration demonstration system for the Cal Poly Mechanical Engineering department. I enjoy working on physics and math problems and learning science that deepens my sense of wonder in the world around us. My interests include: fire protection, bicycle design, aviation, Wind Power, pump systems, and controls engineering. At work, I like to dive into the problems and develop an understanding with coworkers. I adhere to a generalist mindset and like to make interdisciplinary connections. I am driven to generate first pass quality work and stick to a thorough detail-oriented approach.What's next:California Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate number 179181. Thinking about getting experience in fire protection and possibly a Masters/PE (good job Professor Emberly!). For now, I am building my career with analysis experience and learning structural engineering and large scale production.
