Heading the global network department, developing, managing and educating the Viking global network, consisting of service stations and partners = Viking agents. The global network department is part of the corporate function Commercial situated in the HQ at Viking Denmark.Responsible for the network expansion, analysing and investigating new locations in terms of evaluating business cases, budgets and presentation to the management for decision making. New locations takes various forms - 100% owned or subcontracting which can be initiated from scratch or through acquisitions. Work closely together with the management within the 6 regions globally, supporting and evaluating the business development & strategy within our service network, in order to meet our ambitious growth targets. Heading the Business Process department in Sales. Optimizing and developing business processes to secure efficiency and simplicity. Responsible for SAP processes and a fairly simple CRM system (Notes based), reporting & performance management through broadcasted sales cockpits. Implementing SAP in mother company in 2004/2005 (preparation, business blueprint, realization, conversions, education, go live & support) being responsible for SD module and management reporting. Analyzing business processes, general trouble shooting and setting up reports within (Business Warehouse (BW), SD, COPA) in query designer and web application designer. In 2006-2008 being part of roll-out team, implementing SAP at 20 subsidiaries in 6 waves. Worked with gap analysis, preparation, customizing of organizational structures, pricing procedures, VAT set up etc., conversion of master data and transactional data, education and go-live support. Responsible for establishing a complete scope of trade products within the Viking product portfolio, providing a complete safety package for the maritime business. And for setting up a completely new product catalogue on the internet – www.vikingsafetyshop.com. Worked with strategic sourcing of suppliers, supplier and product evaluation, negotiating and entering framework agreements valid for all Viking subsidiaries, supporting our organization on new products and requests. Moreover, establishing the internet catalogue defining structures, functionalities, contents and layout. Close cooperation with external IT company and VIKING marketing department. Handling direct domestic sales to customers in Denmark and international sales mainly through agents in Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Israel & Lebanon.
