Construction of the nuclear power station Hinkley Point C | £21 billion Head of two areas / teams: 1) Handover: conduction of the approval process for all fully functioning constructed areas along with an international nuclear body, and formally delivers them to the client (EDF Energy) 2) Care & Maintenance: establishing the methods and managing the preservation of all completed works and nuclear industrial equipment up to final commissioning and handover to the client.• Management of creation, implementation and approval, along with the client, of the Handover process and Care & Maintenance of all industrial nuclear equipment;• Intense liaison with international regulatory bodies with frequent visits to the site;• Management of a team of 12 engineers specialized in IT, reinforced concrete, HVAC, M&E and Quality systems;• Management of third-party companies with £172 million worth of contracts;• Department budget management;• Creation and presentation of progress & quality reports to the client and regulatory bodies;• Holding weekly meetings to monitor team performance (KPI);• Creation of As-builts and Manuals;• Accountable for approving programmes and purchase requisitions for the department.

Construction of the high-speed train Crossrail Paddington Station | £450 millionUpgrade of a water treatment site (Thames Water) | £110 million • Management of all fit-out contractors;• Conduction of a daily pre-work briefing with all contractors and engineers, ensuring correct resource allocation, identification of the need for work permits and potential clashes;• Frequent inspections on site to ensure the works are completed to spec and ITPs;• Responsible for hiring site personnel (engineers and supervisors);• Validation of new suppliers and contractors alongside the procurement department;• Creation and presentation of progress & quality reports to the client;• Accountable for approving programmes and purchase requisitions;• Management and implementation of the Quality Assurance process.
