High performance, results-driven leader in the urban planning, real estate, engineering, and environmental space. I have a strong science-based background, but have been fortunate to develop extensive collaborative leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills. I'm just as comfortable testifying in front of the Committee on Natural Resources as I am explaining affordability issues to neighborhood groups. My core competencies include: sustainability, public affairs, communications, strategic planning, urban development, infrastructure design & construction, environmental policy, land conservation, and community & regional planning.I have served as a thought leader and advisor to decision makers on a wide variety of topics: on environmental policies on the U.S./Mexico Border to the U.S. Congress, on urban infill issues to Mayoral administrations in fast-growing Austin, and on water supply issues to agricultural irrigators in rural Texas, to name a few. In practical terms, I am focused on the real estate, environmental, natural resources, sustainability, and/or urban planning space - here in Texas or anywhere around the globe. I continually work hard to dispel the concept that development and environmental protection cannot go hand in hand.
