- Interviewed and hired interns for the 2024 media team- Organize and lead pre- and post-game content meetings with photographer and socialmedia interns. Pre and post-game meetings will be utilized to evaluate game day socialmedia needs, develop plans to acquire the content and then post and monitor thecontent.- Design and create social media content in conjunction with the social team,photographer and or videographer.- Manage the distribution of visual content—photography and videography—on socialmedia platforms.- Optimize content based on media platform.- Monitor social media posts to ensure appropriate content and consistent branding.- Manage player photo/video portfolios for the Mariner organization—includes a minimumof five high-resolution, archive quality, color photos and one stock video for contractedand temporary uniformed players.- Assist with public relations, special events and other duties and projects as determinedby team managers.- Coordinate and prioritize content with broadcasters, sideline reporters and additionalinterns based on need.- Collaborate with graphic design intern to develop a clearly branded and consistentformat for social media posts.- Assist with video work which could include home and away games, home game pre-game ceremonies, all-star game, Fenway workout, and community events.- Plan and curate content outside of established game day content needs.- Meet with media team members—including broadcasting—to determine coverageinterest areas and develop plans to capture the relevant content related to these areas.
