Application Engineer / Project Manager, Wind ensures that wind-related projects in Engineering Dept. are initiated and managed to deliver within the constraints of agreed timescales, budget and finance structure.Responsibilities:- Supporting Sales, Technology Director and their teams with initial assessment of submitted concepts and proposals, ensuring that scope (deliverables), scheduling and resourcing issues are fully addressed.- Planning and executing project plans utilizing Project Management methodologies, tools and resources as provided through Project Portfolio Controlling.- Coordinating activities of multi-disciplinary teams consisting of core team members and specialists working through a flexible matrix structure.- Implementing the appropriate organization structure for managing the individual projects and programmes.- Leading, directing the execution phase resources from the core/non-core teams on a project by project basis and often taking direct part in the action as well.- Coordinating all project activities and risks by owning all aspects of development, quality testing, 0-series, in-field tests, while creating an environment of accountability for performance and results.- Providing regular and ad-hoc reports to Senior Management.- Building cross-functional collaboration and partnerships with external suppliers proactively managing external dependencies and interfaces.- Recommending and advising on appropriate strategies to ensure and maintain positive commercial position.- Controlling budget for projects.- Contributing to early development projects, giving advice to colleagues in Development as well as Sales on “deliverability” and commercialization.

- Analyze, clarify and interpret project specific requirements, derive necessary adaptations for REpower standard products and initiate development requests.- Carry through new project specific developments acting a technical project manager for a, for the task assembled, cross functional team. - Successfully accomplish (Quality, Cost and Delivery) predefined work packages aiming at 3rd party equipment integration in the REpower onshore wind turbines, SCADA and IT landscape.- Validate project specific solutions considering REpower specifications and customer, project and valid market specific norms and guidelines.
