As a student fellow, I provide peer mentorship for first-year students at Vassar College. I work alongside the residential team of our house to build a safe and welcoming campus community. Many of my responsibilities include coordinating house events, facilitating meetings, and mediating interpersonal conflict.

During my internship, I was able to exercise and develop my technical skills and knowledge while gaining insight as to the inner workings of a portfolio management business. I used Excel to reformat our large client list for appropriate transferring to a new CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Through one of my research projects, I gained a deeper insight into the world of Generative AI, and wrote an extensive narrative piece on how it works, how it may affect the economy and the job market in the future, some concerns/setbacks, and some amazing functionalities of the new generative AI technology. This project was used to inform our clients as well as to force us to approach generative AI from unique angles. Another one of my projects involved writing a Python script which was able to analyze thousands of historical stock prices and data to give us a better understanding of how momentum affects large/mega cap stocks. The report I wrote could then be used to alleviate concerns or answer questions from clients about a stock with negative or positive momentum.

As a camp counselor and tennis instructor, I communicated with club staff to lead daily recreational activities for a group of 25 4-8 year old campers in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment. I addressed parental concerns with compassion and integrity while adhering to camp policy and procedure.

Senior Internship at Grassroots. I designed online organizers for documents that were previously organized on paper. I created a sign-up link and emailed it to everyone who was previously involved in the organization. My time as an intern gave me a lot of useful insight into the workings of a non-profit organization, and how non-profits depend heavily on donations and grants from the government which cannot always be relied on.
