- Promotion of performance-based window design.- Industry-Government-Academia Research Collaboration on Low Carbon Housings.- Research on architectural products for sustainable architecture/green building in the hot-humid climate.

-Project coordination with overseas and local collaborators, which involves private companies, government agencies (e.g. Ministry of Public Works; Indonesian Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency) and academia (e.g. Univ. of Tokyo, Hiroshima Univ., Institute Technology of Bandung, etc.). -Developing research methodology, preparing equipment for data collections and conducting on-site survey.-Analyze the data and prepare progress report as well as final report to internal and external collaborators.-Designed a full-scale experimental house, including its database and real-time monitoring system; and conduct regular maintenance of the research facilities such as sensors check-up and cleaning, data inventory, etc.-Establish and maintain a good network with stakeholders in green building issue, such as Ministry of Public Works of Indonesia, Green Building Council Indonesia, researchers in universities, building contractors, etc.-Supervising internship students (from Indonesia and Japan), giving training about building energy simulation program as well as knowledge sharing through seminar and conferences.

-Actively conducting research about the urban warming phenomenon in the growing cities in Southeast Asia, with the case study of the urban master plan of Hanoi, Vietnam, and Johor Bahru, Malaysia.-Conducting field survey and communicate the research results with the stakeholders, such as Vietnam Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning and Hanoi Urban Planning Institute, Iskandar Regional Development Authority, etc.- Actively participated in the international conferences, seminars and academic forum.- Enhanced and widened my research interests, such as: urban warming adaptation in buildings, community participation in public space, low-carbon apartment for middle-class income in Indonesia, etc.-Assigned to supervise and giving guidance to the under -graduate and graduate students in the laboratory. The students are from various countries such as Japan, Germany, Indonesia, Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Uzbekistan.
