C.D.Being born in Romania and now living in the UK, I've always embraced change as a key aspect to progress within my career. I find it very easy to adapt to different work environments.Passionate about technology, I have a keen interest into what drives our society to move forward, like engineering, business innovation, and environmental sustainability. During my professional career I've been in very diverse roles, gaining experience due to my always-learning mindset and can-do attitude. Starting with my first job, in sales, I've learned how important is the attention to details and communication with clients. Continuing my journey, working in a digital marketing agency I had my first contact with various technologies, like Microsoft Office, WordPress, and SEO tools. Further up in my career I was in charge with the video creation and the graphic design processes, which helped me gain an understanding of workstations maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting, as well as working with Adobe Suite. Moving to the UK, a new beginning waited for me here. I quickly transitioned to construction and heavy machinery industry. Working within great infrastructure projects I've acquired time management skills, ability to work within large teams, in addition to safety awareness and operational procedures. The technology evolves at an exponential pace and I'm aware of the challenge that it comes with from a business perspective, being behind every process that requires efficiency, innovation, and reliability. That is the reason why I am very excited to shift my career towards a technological path and work as a system administrator. Having under my belt certifications such as CompTIA A+ and MS 900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, I've gained experience with virtualization environments (Hyper-V), on-prem infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory), cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID), and device management solutions (Intune). As a short-term goal, I'm looking to expand my knowledge with networking and cloud certifications. As a mid-term goal, I want to dive deep into artificial intelligence security solutions. As a long-term goal, I would love to manage large teams and implement cloud solutions at a worldwide scale.Holding a degree in Environmental Science, nature will always be an important part of how I spend my time. I love hiking and I'm always excited to discover hidden gems of nature with my wife.
