Manages, directs & controls publications programs for assigned acquisitions and fielded systems supporting the Government. Identifies & develops publications requirements, estimates costs, analyzes & evaluates proposals, monitors, and tests, accepts, and coordinates printing and fielding of system publications. Budgets, plans, schedules and coordinates all aspects of assigned publications programs. Develops and conducts on-the-job training of assigned publications personnel. Advises and provides guidance to Government and Contractor personnel regarding publications related issues. Advises and keeps management, matrix and team members informed on assigned publications programs and policy. Responds to publications-related field inquiries in a timely manner. Possesses knowledge and understanding of the latest technologies, practices and concepts used during the TACOM publications development process. Provide support for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Electronic Technical Manuals (ETMs) and Interactive Multimedia Manuals (IMM).
