As a life coach, my clients discover their passions and grow joy in their lives. I love being witness to this discovery process almost as I enjoy watching them develop their goals and then taking action to make them a reality.I admit that as a school psychologist and a coach, I can't help but to have a soft spot for teachers. I'm continually amazed at the dedication educators demonstrate over and over again. My teacher-clients work on the changes that they want to incorporate into their classrooms, whether it has to do with student behavior, creating lesson plans, organizing their space, and especially balancing the responsibilties and demands of their jobs with their life outside of school. I've enjoyed working with school teams... teachers and administrators that gather specifically for the purpose of exploring and introducing system wide changes into the school day. Whether it's RTI (Response to Intervention) or an anti-bullying curriculum I've had the pleasure of helping these dynamic groups into making unique changes in their buildings.Of course, all of us can get stuck now and then- we know that we are entitled to living in joy even if we haven't obtained it yet.
