As a strategist, designer and blue-sky thinker, I help organisations to radically and measurably improve their performance and productivity. I like to challenge the status quo and how we approach safety, health and sustainability transformation and change.For the past 15 years of my 25-year career, I have been a Senior Partner at EY and Deloitte, leading HSE and Sustainability Advisory Services across Oceania. Now in 2024, I am embarking on new adventures doing what I love - collaborating with people to design good, healthy and safe work. My clients include global organisations in the mining, construction, energy and finance industries and we work together to innovate and deliver better outcomes - strategic, cultural and sustainable. I have led complex strategy design and execution projects, impact measurement and theory of change design, critical risk and HSE systems redesign, large-scale workforce transformation programs as well as sensitive investigations and interventions post fatality. I have published a range of articles on the psychology of safety, mental health, culture change, and worker-led problem solving and continue to research and write. As an internationally-recognised leader in HSE, I have also contributed a chapter to the book One Percent Safer, compiled and published in 2020 by Prof Dr Andrew Sharman, President of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health.
