Profile bio

About Andi Drileck

For the past twenty years, my leadership of workforce education programs has included both the strategic planning and the day-to-day management of large programs. At National Able Network, I supervised 60 staff and oversaw 19 programs with an $8M budget, and delivered solutions that had a strong impact on a very diverse community. Under my supervision, staff rapidly grew employer engagement, exceeded key performance goals, achieved clean audits, and introduced best-in-class practices. All the while, I was constantly developing and improving systems and policies for state, federal and foundation-funded programs. I also ensured that programs responded to current career trends and the demands of the market. This work made major contributions to the lives of participants from diverse populations, developing programming that built career readiness and helped low-income, first generation students to secure full-time employment—often at wages they hadn’t dreamed possible. I was particularly valued for my skill in repairing and building relationships with funders and other key community stakeholders. My project management skills brought major undertakings to successful completion and ensured that we met benchmarks and standards. I feel especially proud of my skills in talent acquisition, training, and mentoring managers. A number of my hires have gone on to achieve high levels of success in the field. As a member of the executive leadership team, I was highly respected for my insights and abilities to create collaborative partnerships with other organizations, repair and build relationships with funders, and develop solutions to the tough issues. Currently, I am opening a new market in the Chicagoland region for Per Scholas, an organization that provides IT training to diverse populations that are under-represented in the industry. I work with funders and corporate philanthropy to gain financial support and raise awareness of our programs.
