Bartending, service and hospitality at its highest level. We create cocktails and develop a cocktail list that is seasonal and relevant to what is happening the the kitchen. We are responsible for running the bar from top to bottom with minimal management involvement (opening & closing procedures, money handling, stocking, ordering) while being up to DOH standards. We also take care of guests to the fine dining level you expect from Daniel including offering the 7 course tasting menu nightly at the bar.

I was a bartender then promoted to head bartender where I ran the bar program at Dory. I was in charge of creating the cocktail menus, quality control, inventory, scheduling, problem solving, cash handling, opening, closing, training, education. In addition to the management side of my job I provided my guests with exceptional service through mastering steps of service, recommending drinks and food based on their preference, anticipating needs throughout their experience. I enjoy developing (repeat guest) relationships through whit, a desire to educate, ability to read situations (know when they want to chat or be left alone) and fun non-intrusive conversation. Trained under the late Sasha Petraske.

I was an opening bartender at Butter Midtown under Chef Alex Guarnaschelli in 2013. I continue to work a night here and there when scheduling permits.

I was an opening server at Maysville and was quickly promoted to bartender. This is where my love for hospitality and thirst for spirits knowledge began.
