As a psychologist, I focus on supporting people as as they navigate the tough waters of life. Many of us have experienced trauma in childhood or throughout life that can impact how we show up everyday. I utilize EMDR and other evidence-based techniques to support skill-building to alleviate some of the symptoms of trauma and resolve the underlying root cause of such issues. Telehealth only.

I help leaders and helpers improve both their quality of life and quality of work through training on skills that use Trauma-Informed and Resilience practices using both in-person and online training tools. I also work with small to medium-sized organizations in helping reduce worker burnout, and compassion fatigue, through integration and practice of resilience-building skills. We can help you integrate Trauma-Informed and Resilience Practices into ANY aspect of your life.

I have a unique role within the organization in supporting the integration of a trauma-informed approach within the clinics. We believe that the most sustainable way to do this is to focus on the resilience of our staff and provide training and ongoing support to meet the unique needs of each clinic.

Being human is a beautiful and, at times, challenging experience. When we find ourselves “stuck,” we risk sacrificing our ability to authentically connect to our self or to others. Interruptions in mental health range from typical life experiences to events that are traumatic. These can be a single event, or more long-term, pervasive experiences. My approach to therapy recognizes each person as a whole “being” prioritizing the goal of developing self-agency through integration of awareness, skills to facilitate healing, and intentionality in the process. I have been trained in a variety of modalities, embracing the uniqueness of how we move through struggles. These include Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Sand Tray/Play Therapy, and Family Systems. My diversity in training accommodates individual needs. My educational background includes a Masters in Community Counseling. Through the International Association of Trauma Professionals, I am a Certified Expert Trauma Professional (CETP). I also educate and advocate in the community for the integration of Trauma Informed Practices, through our systems of care, through Origins Training. I am currently working towards my Doctorate in Psychology at California Southern University.
