About Andikara Etiubon

My early childhood was memorable as I lost my front tooth and lower lip because I confronted a senior in my school for imposing an action against my wish. In his words, "Andikara talks too much and tries to always tell what is right or wrong!" Funny enough, I still confronted him and provided advice on what is appropriate after my return from the hospital. Throughout my life, I have developed the art of respectful communication and being bold at any time. From being involved in debates, studying international relations, undertaking an LLM in International Business Law, working in different careers; I have learnt that effective communication, tactful diplomacy and providing value is essential. I have developed a passion for being diplomatic and providing innovative ideas and solutions to support individuals, businesses, organizations and governments. In my career, I have been involved in: * Negotiating and drafting the Protocol on Investment and Draft Protocol on Digital Trade for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to facilitate intra-African investments.* Facilitating stakeholder engagements for the Enlarged National Focal Point (ENFP) on matters concerning trade, industry and investment in Nigeria. * successfully training over 1500 youths on diplomacy and Model United Nations Procedures for participation at UN, MUN and UNESCO conferences as well as HULT Prize and ENACTUS competitions. My personal and professional experience has taught me that I can: - generate ideas and business solutions based on available data and gut instincts,- prioritise my clients' goals and achieve high-quality results,- excel at executing large innovative projects irrespective of constraints, - apply human-centred approach to formulate policies, create solutions and development models for communities, and - successfully negotiate trade and business deals. In my career growth, I have learnt that communities helps us to share ideas, transform our minds and aggregate diverse suggestions to manage and enhance our wellbeing. I belong to the UK Association of EU Law, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). At my leisure, you will find me observing how people interact with nature to solve their needs, meeting new people and hearing new perspectives about trade, law, disruptive technology, sustainability and education.Specialties: Trade Facilitation | Business Development | Diplomacy | Trade & Commercial Law | Team Development | Market Analysis| Personnel Management
