I worked as a Software Engineer at Anametrix from January 2011 to October 2012. I was part of the product and engineering team where we worked on a Real-Time Analytics SaaS solution. • Developed our patent pending predictive alerting tool using machine learning and statistical analysis. In this project I used Java, ActionScript, SQL, HTML and CSS. • Designed and developed a natural language search engine that is currently used in our mobile application. The engine is implemented in Java and the GUI in Adobe AIR. • In charge of enhancements and testing for Anametrix Web Analytics platform, in-house built query engine and NoSQL storage engine. • Built several data mining and ETL connectors to well-known APIs such as Facebook and DoubleClick DFA using for instance SOAP and JSON.

I worked as a Software Engineer for about 1,5 years. We used SCRUM and Kanban as our development processes and I learned a lot about agile software development. • Developed a search feature for their mobile navigation application using machine learning. This project was implemented in Java SE & ME and JSP. • Designed and developed a generic predictive surveillance system using data mining and artificial intelligence. The surveillance system was built using Python, Java, MySQL, HTML and CSS.

Had an internship for 7 months at Microsoft, during that time I worked as a member of the Solution Architect team implementing tools for their Enterprise Search Platform (ESP). • Implemented a relevancy tuning tool for ESP. The GUI was built in HTML, AJAX, CSS and communicated with the back end, built in Python, through XML-RPC. • Designed and developed a user interface for ESPs benchmarking tool using HTML, AJAX, PHP and CSS to increase usability.
