Operating as an effective leader in a complex P3M organisation, primarily built around the leadership of major complex Projects/Programmes and transformational change in Government Property.As an experienced Project Director within the UK Government's Government Property Agency (GPA), I lead teams to design and deliver the UK Government’s high-value property projects, providing new and refurbished facilities for government agencies and departments. As a Grade 6 role, I maintain delegated authority and accountability for my assigned projects, leading integrated delivery teams consisting of design, project management, cost, technical assurance, finance, procurement, engineering, security, sustainability, and other disciplines.Reporting to a programme director, I ensure the successful performance of my projects, encompassing governance, benefits realisation, schedule, budget, commercial and procurement activities, as well as change and risk management.Previously at the GPA, I served as a Workplace Designer Manager, where I provided design direction, assurance, and oversight to project teams and line reports in delivering inclusive and exceptional work environments. I also played a key role in developing internal governance chains and establishing effective ways of working within the GPA Workplace Design Team.Prior to my time at the GPA, I gained valuable experience at Atkins Global, one of the UK's leading multidisciplinary firms. As part of the Design Services Team, I contributed to the management and delivery of large-scale construction projects primarily in the commercial office sector. I have also successfully delivered projects across various sectors, including hospitality, brand headquarters, and retail design, in the UK, North America, and the Middle East.Through my diverse employment history and roles, I have honed my skills in project management, team leadership, design direction, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
