• Taking accurate body measurements for each client and ensuring they are fitted to the correct uniform issued to their role • Doing small alterations such as trouser hems, cuffs and hand-stitching badges• Providing training on how to correctly wear and care for the uniform provided

• Accurately cutting and manufacturing garment samples for new Irish dancing dress styles• Using the multihead embroidery machine to create comlplex embroidey patterns • Applying Swarowsky crystals to each dress, following intricate patterns • Assisting with fitting and alterations to ensure that the dresses are perfectly fitted to each dancer

• Preparing materials for class as requested by teaching staff, such as sewing and textiles samples (e.g.: fly front, zippers, ruffles, waistband, screen printing samples, hand embroidery and beading samples, etc.) • Offering support to students and lecturers by assisting with pattern-cutting and manufacturing lessons• Maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workshop area; writing risk assessments for activities, as well as COSHH• Maintaining all equipment and machinery; demonstrating how to safely use the equipment to students and supervising them • Curating student exhibitions and supporting with fashion shows

As a Design Assistant for Mirandi Atelier I designed bridal and evening dresses. As an outcome, 5 of my designs were included in the 2017 collection and put into production.
