I was the Lead Fire Inspector for Union III: DOD/DOS base in Baghdad Iraq. This base has over 45 acres of mixed, multiple, residential, and business occupancy. I was in charge of conducting Fire Inspections, Fire drills, Fire Warden training and Fire Extinguisher training.

I provided fire protection and emergency medical response for Camp Lemonier for the Unites States Navy, French military forces, and British forces. We are responsible for keeping the fire apparatus vehicles properly maintained and in good working condition. Remain current on 747, DC10, L1011, 767, DC9, C130, C117, C5, C141, KR 135, F16, F15, P3-ABritish, French and Turkish, large and small frame aircraft. Directed and supervised fire rescue suppression responses for combat operations to include operation northern watch in support of UN resolutions no fly zone Northern Iraq, and Operation allied force, NATO air operations, former Republic of Yugoslavia

We provided the United States Department of Defense and the Coalition Forces with fire protection and emergency medical coverage for Operation Enduring Freedom in reference to emergency response, hazardous materials response guide manuals, fire pre-plans for the structural components of the base as well as the military aircrafts that frequent the base primarily with Apache helicopter, Blackhawk helicopters, Schnook helicopters, Coyote helicopters, Predator, C130, C17, F16, and a host of smaller air craft. . I am proficient in performing crash/rescue and firefighting operations, shutting down aircraft engines and rendering egress systems safe. I provide quality resource protection and structural fire fighting support to aerospace vehicles; tents and hard shelled buildings in an effort prevent loss of life and property

Pope Air Force

I’ve worked at an Air Mobility Command base primarily with C-130, C-141, C-17, and C-5 large frame aircraft. I also work with KC-10, A-10 aircraft. I am proficient in performing crash/rescue and firefighting operations, shutting down aircraft engines and rendering egress systems safe. I perform as a crew chief and driver/operator of airport rescue firefighter emergency response vehicles. I provide quality resource protection and fire fighting support to aerospace vehicles preventing loss of life and property. I maintain a constant awareness of the frequent change of aircraft cockpit layout and any ordinance change to determine how they can affect the difficulty of the rescue mission and fighting fires. I am experienced in operating and deactivating specialized mechanisms, fire suppression systems and removing injured personnel from the immediate hazard area. I also perform standby duties during aircraft fueling and de-fueling, ICT's, and engine maintenance. Performing as a structural driver/operator, I apply the principles of hydraulics, as it pertains to water flow and friction loss, providing the proper pressure and the maximum GPM for the distance to be pumped. I have experience in operating various pumps, foam generators, and different turret configurations. I also maintain a constant awareness of agent levels, conduct quarterly refract meter (foam sampling test) and annual crash vehicle fire fighting systems time and distance.

Pope Air Force Base

I was a military firefighter at Pope Air Force Base from June 1999 until April 2003, We provided fire protection for structural as well as air craft emergency. We conducted fire hydrant inspections, business fire inspections to ensure that they were obeying the fire codes set forth by the NFPA, OSHA, and city ordinances. We educated the public on fire awareness, prevention, and safety. We documented all emergency and all non-emergency calls as required by company policy. I was a supervisor to young airman/firefighter my responsibilities was to provide leadership for my sub-ordinates to enable them to perform with precision and professionalism, to teach them, on a company level, the basics that they would need in order to perform their jobs safely.
