Andra Leurdijk (PhD) has over 25 years of experience in policy and innovation in the media- and cultural domain. She currently works as programme manager governance at Cultuur+Ondernemen. She guides and advises cultural organizations with questions about the application of the Culture Governance Code. She provides training for supervisory boards and directors and facilitates self-evaluations. Previously worked as an independent consultant and facilitator in the media and cultural sectorShe contributed to different phases in policy and strategy development, such as carrying out stakeholder consultations and evaluations, writing policy papers and moderating brainstorms and strategy sessions. She is used to working in complex environments and has a good sense for human relations and the interests of different stakeholders.Among her clients were the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, The Ministry of Economic Affairs, various local administrations (Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Maastricht), public broadcasters (NPO, VRT, NLPO), the European Broadcasting Union, CultuurConnect, IWT, Sound & Vision and the Dutch Film Festival.She is a member of the supervisory board of NLPO (Nederlandse Lokale Publieke Omroepen), the collaboration and coordination body of all local public broadcasters in the Netherlands. Andra completed a MA in political sciences and a PhD on TV journalism and cultural diversity, at the University of Amsterdam. She followed several (international) training programmes in management skills, applied creativity, facilitation and mediation.
