I received my B.Sc. degree in Applied Electronics from Polytechnic University of Timișoara, Timișoara, Romania in 2015 and my M.Sc. degree in Microelectronics from Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2017. During my master, in 2016, I was an intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, USA. My project consisted of fully characterizing a far ultraviolet spectrometer used for space applications. In 2017, I worked on my master thesis which focused on the design of a smart analog SiPM with on-chip conversion, in collaboration with SensL. I finished my Ph.D. at EPFL in Advanced Quantum Architecture Laboratory (AQUA Lab) in 2023. My main research focus during the PhD was the development of mixed-signal and digital integrated circuits for medical applications. I have worked in various CMOS technology nodes from 350 nm down to 16 nm FinFET. One of my design consisted in a fully reconfigurable integrated artificial neural network designed in 16 nm FinFET for coincidence detection. Since 2024, I dedicate my full time to NovoViz but I am still engaged in academic research.
