Completed a 6- month internship where I was able to gain hands on experience in studio maintenance, gallery set up, and sales organization. I had the opportunity to take a glaze chemistry class and assisted with glaze mixing for the studio. Learned basic skills in plaster mold making and hand building.

• Produced cell cultures to screen and analyze a patient’s specific set of blood cells that would be used to generate therapeutic vaccines
• Integrated a pressure-driven pump system into microfluidic droplet generator to create nano-liter sized cell cultures without evaporation of cell media
• Optimized flow conditions of micro fluidic droplet generator to encapsulate fluorescent particles
• Imaged droplets under a microscope and measured the fluorescence of the encapsulated particles
