- Lead daily operations for the Community Scientist Program, coordinating multi-faceted projects and fostering partnerships with the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), University of Florida Health Cancer Center (UFHCC), and OneFlorida+.-Track program goals, metrics, and project milestones, providing regular updates to leadership teams at CTSI, UFHCC, and OneFlorida+ to ensure aligned progress on program initiatives.-Oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing facilitation for Citizen Scientists, coordinating their engagement in research proposals, reviews, and implementation projects.-Lead data collection and maintenance for program activities, creating data files and managing databases to support programmatic refinements and decision-making.-Facilitate cross-functional meetings with investigators, stakeholders, and community members, creating agendas, capturing action items, and ensuring effective follow-up communication.-Serve as the primary liaison for local and national stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships with investigators, advisory boards, and partner sites statewide and nationally.-Conduct day-to-day project management tasks, monitoring timelines, addressing operational issues, and collaborating with teams to resolve barriers to program success-Support grant proposals and research dissemination efforts, compiling comprehensive reports and ensuring metric-based tracking of program contributions.-Organize and lead training sessions for Citizen Scientists, researchers, staff, and students, promoting patient-centered engagement strategies and the value of community contributions to research.-Coordinate with UF researchers to align on Citizen Scientist recommendations, assessing project feasibility and refining study protocols to incorporate community input.-Participate in community events and public functions, enhancing program visibility and providing outreach on program goals, updates, and engagement opportunities.

University extension project in teaching – PIBIDThe program offers teaching initiation scholarships for students of face-to-face internships in public schools. The goal is to anticipate the bond between future teachers and public classrooms. With thisinitiative, the program articulates higher education (through undergraduate degrees), with school and state and municipal systems.
