As a Cloud Platform Engineer, transforming the cloud landscape, creating robust and cost-effective solutions. In my consultancy role at CTS I support the client to optimise notebook operations, resulting in a substantial cost saving of ~£30k per year showcasing my ability to turn underutilised resources into fiscal success. I am keen on taking proactive steps to tackle cloud issues. In my pursuit of operational excellence, I've architected solutions that automate IT processes. My first major initiative involved automating the categorisation and group assignment of new system users. This not only trimmed down hours of manual work each week but also enhanced the accuracy of user access levels across the board.Equally impactful was my project on automating firewall configurations for new sites. By mastering Postman and API integrations, I designed a process that expedited configuration tasks and minimised human error. This innovation not only accelerated deployment timelines but also became a model of efficiency within our operations, which I had the pleasure of teaching to my colleagues.I am open to collaborating and creating successful transformations with likeminded businesses.
