About András Berta

I've been involved in the international music industry for approx. 20 years. In 2005 I was co-founder and in 2007 became the director of the music development program of the Hungarian Ministry of Culture. Between 2005 and 2007 I also served as program coordinator of Music Export Hungary. Later I worked for booking and management agency Budapestrocknroll and was CEO of the independent label Zene360. Between 2010 and 2018 I took the position of International Relations Director (in charge of marketing and ticket sales) at Sziget Festival. In 2016 I was co-founder of the European Marketing and Communication Group within Yourope, the European Festival Association, serving as Head of Group until 2021. In 2019 I joined the RFM Somnii Festival in Portugal, as Head of International Strategy and during the same year I founded my own PR agency, Ceendicate. In 2020 I joined the award-winning EXIT Festival, as International Ticketing Director. In 2023 I also started working for the Budapest-based ticketing and event IT provider Backstage Ticketing, as Marketing and Business Development Director.
