I am currently pursuing a career in books where I can do what I love: work with stories, information, and new ideas. In recent roles, I’ve gained project management experience as the managing editor for South Hall Literary Magazine, and I've begun a career in library sciences as an assistant library technician at the Santa Maria Public Library. I delved into the world of editing at UCSB where I was taught invaluable editing skills, the importance of deadlines, and the drive necessary to do editorial work. While studying English and Professional Editing, I also worked and interned as a freelance editor, senior editor, and literature editor, which built my confidence in writing, editing, and communicating with authors and editorial teams.
