I am a Chemical Engineering graduate with over 14 years of experience in medical device manufacturing field acquired at i-STAT Canada Limited which then became Abbott Point of Care (APOC). I have thrived in this highly regulated industry by being detail-oriented, well organized and a person of integrity. My enthusiasm, dependability, motivation as well as my extreme willingness to help and support have contributed to my success over the years and has earned me the respect and appreciation of my co-workers. I am a firm believer in consulting all stakeholders (operators, equipment technicians, engineers and managers) to gather all pertinent information to then come up with the best solution possible. My motto as always been there is never a problem that can’t be solved. I am always seeking for ways to improve efficiency and perform my tasks in a more optimal way; challenging status quo when deemed required.Working in a fast paced environment with rapid changes in priorities, my capacity to adapt and turn around very quickly ensured my success.My primary focus at APOC was on biosensor microfabrication but throughout the years, I had the opportunity to work on all aspect from biosensor microfabrication to cartridge assembly. Other areas I have worked in include chemistry, special materials, manufactured (printed and laser cut) and incoming components. I well versed with the CAPA system; I am qualified as an Initiator, Investigator and Resolution Planner. I have written and executed countless Quality Systems documents such as validation, verification (protocol and report), characterization and engineering reports; my understanding and ability to see all sides (user, quality system owner, auditor) has yielded flawless documentation meeting the highest quality standards. I have also created and updated multiple Standard Operation Procedured (SOP) and other process documentation. I have experience from planning to execution of experiments which include testing, data analysis and summary.I enjoy making a positive impact on people lives. APOC medical devices are used throughout the world and impact millions of people; I am proud to have contributed to the success of such fantastic and life changing products.
