BGP geo-seismic operation; Ethiopia Afar providing pre-hospital advanced life support and primary health care to expat and local nationals. Working around archaeologically protected sites in the Afar. I delivered first aid and health care training as well as health and fitness promotion sessions, as well as completing weekly hygiene and HSE inspections. Monthly medivac drills, daily reporting, field and line camping, learning local languages, successful emergency treatment and transporting of sick patients to academic hospital.

InternationalSOS Africa Oil Kenya-Drilling and exploration HCP, Kenya; Ambatovy- mine HCP, Tamatave in Madagascar; Cegelec- Hydro power station HCP (health care practitioner), Chimoio in Mozabique; AOK Bahasi HCP, Kenya; Rio Tinto- drilling rig, Walvisbay in Namibia, Otjiwarongo-Gold mine, Otjiwarongo in Namibia where he provided medical support, including primary health care and emergency response management, undertaking seismic surveys, drilling, mining and maintanance. Duties included first aid training and health awareness programmes for the crews; health and safety responsibilities, including risk assessment, health and hygiene audits, safety induction training and providing support to the HSE advisor. Andre provided medical support to a multinational site and managed a multi-disciplined clinical team. Additional duties included aero medical evacuations and medical refresher training, together with the delivery of health awareness programmes for expatriates and local nationals and providing medical treatment for tropical disease cases. He also took responsibility for the overall management of operations, logistics, personnel and stock.
