-Part of the Systems Engineering/SEIT team for a NASA sponsored program (VIIRS).-Led integration and test team of Closed Cycle Cryogenic Cooler to simulate extreme environments that the VIIRS sensor will be exposed to - Developed, tested, and released software revisions for flight Cryoradiator thermal vacuum testing software in LabVIEW- Directed validation of Special Test Equipment (STE) to verify operational status before integration into final sensor validation testing- Applied technical skills and works with engineers from multiple product teams to implement test scenarios that ensure hardware functionality in the space environment- Test Engineer for the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) program, a NASA-sponsored space-based weather instrument that collects images and radiometric data used to provide information on the Earth's clouds, atmosphere, oceans, and land surfaces.- Directed environmental testing operations on hardware that is critical to a $564M effort with little to no supervision.

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Corona Tools my tasks included:Product lifecycle management Integration- Assist with the transition into a PLM system. This system adds to the company’s overall efficiency and organization.Materials Testing- Conduct material tests to analyze the specifications given by suppliers. The process includes using statistical data analysis and the measurements given by a tensile machine in order to determine if the specifications are true. 2D and 3D drawings- Utilize programs such as Solidworks and Autocad to create designs and drawings for specific parts and assemblies. A specific example is a fixture that attaches to a Tensile machine in order to conduct the specific material tests needed.

This is a personal family business that I have worked in since the age of 16. Based out of Redlands, CA, my role as a technician was today maintain the pool and pool equipment. Aside from maintenance I worked in various projects among other jobs.
