CurrentWorking in the Systems Architecture and Design Group of the Deputy Directorate of Technology (DAT) at CNPEM. Currently collaborating with specialized teams in the directorate on the design and construction of a low-energy proton linear accelerator (Proton Gun + LEBT + Radio-frequency Quadrupole Cavity) and the conceptual design of an accelerator for a protontherapy center. Daily exposed to challenges that require and develop my skills as a physics engineer. I play a key role in the establishment and consolidation of the specialty in Beam Dynamics and Radio-Frequency of proton accelerating cavities at CNPEM, with responsibilities that include: - Providing technical support to colleagues and interns on the theory of beam dynamics and RF for proton accelerator cavities; - Proposing activities and work plans that enhance team knowledge diversity and are strategically aligned with short- and medium-term project demands; - Broadening my knowledge in theory and technology of accelerators to identify R&D&I opportunities aligned with the interests of the directorate.I am also tasked with implementing Systems Engineering and Project Management concepts to the ongoing proton accelerator project, such as: - Conducting studies and research to define project systems, their requirements and interactions; - Identifying potential solutions in collaboration with specialists and stakeholders to elaborate roadmaps and schedules; - Understanding the organizational structure of the directorate to assess the allocation of responsibilities; - Acting as one of the technical points of contact with specialists and suppliers from outside the institution; - Promoting technical planning and guide regular planning and review events; - Ensuring overall alignment and communication to keep project progress updated with the directorate's strategy.
