Responsibilities:• Oversite of various Multi Million Dollar Residental Construction projects.• Coordinating the Design review process and communications with architects, engineers, surveyors and project managers. • Oversee staff of project managers and supervisors, providing guidance and support.• As part of project management oversee bidding process, reviewing and negotiating consultants (inspection), vendors and subcontractors contracts.• Create various types of construction schedule ( baseline, critical path, cost and resource loaded, recovery, etc)• Overseeing the successful execution of single family, multi family and mixed-use projects from bidding to completion, involving review and implementation of design changes, change order negotiations, agency approvals and sign-offs.• Customer service.

• Day-to-Day operations with a staff of twelve (12), Project Managers, CAD drafters, Office personnel, and more than forty (40) employees working in the field, supervisors and trades workers .• Overseeing the successful execution of Public Works Projects (Formal Contracts and Job Order Contracts) in excess of $70 million in the Arcadia Unified, La Puente Unified, El Monte Unified, Los Angeles Unified, and the Whittier Union High School Districts, the Pasadena City College, the Glendale Community College, Long Beach Community College District, and the Los Angeles Community College District. In addition, Projects with the Burbank Pasadena Glendale Airport Authority and the City of Cerritos.• Recruited, hired and trained new employees.• Dealing with all the legal aspects of the business, lawsuits, claims and more.• Developed and implemented Employee Handbooks, office procedures and protocols, various company forms and logs, computer filing system, companywide Injury & Illness Prevention Programs and Safety Plans. • Ensure a healthy bottom line thru accurate bidding, budgeting, contract negotiation and Project execution. Provide support to all staff members as needed. • Personally responsible for the construction of various sized Projects.Achievements:• Expand Company sales from 4mil to over 25 million annually, responsible for expanding Industry awareness of Company.

• Directly responsible for School Modernization Projects in excess of $10 million in the following School Districts: La Puente Unified, El Monte Unified, Los Angeles Unified, Glendale Unified, Long Beach Community College District. In addition, projects for The Los Angeles County Department of Parks & Recreation. • Management and coordination of the construction team consisting of Construction Managers, Supervisors, Field Labor Force and in house staff. In addition, coordination of all Sub Contractors, including review and award of contracts and scope.• Responsible for all aspects of Project Bidding to include, Pre-Bid Walks, coordination of Subcontractors Estimates, Final project Estimate and Bid submission. • Complete project scheduling, as well as budgeting, procurement and project closeouts.• Preparing monthly Profit and Loss statements and cost control reports.• Attend weekly Construction meetings held by the Project Owner / Management. • Conduct weekly in-house project statues and labor force assignment meetings.
