I am a skilled and motivated professional with experience in leadership, police work and currently as a Senior Animal Management Officer. I am currently working as a Senior Animal Management Officer where I am responsible for resolving complex incidents, managing investigations, prosecutions, targeted enforcement and determining release conditions.Previously, I have worked as a Police Officer in South Africa for 17 years. I believe the skills I gained in this role have aided me well in my current position. As a police officer I was required to have exceptional communication skills and deal will a vast array of people. Keeping a calm and positive demeanour and a positive attitude was vital and is a skill I have carried through to my current position. Prior to working as a Police Officer, I was a Technical Manager for APC Security where I was responsible for leading a team of 10. Other duties included; conducting performance evaluations, booking out equipment and managing rosters and leave. As a professional and organised individual, I have excellent time management and problem solving skills. I can exercise good judgement, show initiative and accountability to the task at hand. I cope well with pressure and look at new challenges as new opportunities.I love to keep busy, enjoy a challenge and am always looking for ways to help and go the extra mile.
