Andre Bouffard, a litigation Director in Downs Rachlin Martin’s Burlington, Vermont office has deep courtroom experience in both appeals and trial courts. He leads his firm’s appellate litigation practice and has argued appeals in the Supreme Court of the United States, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the Vermont and New Hampshire Supreme Courts. For over 25 years Andre has represented creditors in all aspects of insolvency matters, including business restructuring, bankruptcy, workouts and acquisition and disposition of distressed assets. He also has extensive experience in probate litigation involving trusts and estates. He works with clients in a wide variety of industry sectors such as financial services, insurance, investment management, transportation and manufacturing. Andre has served on the Board of Directors of Mobius, The Mentoring Movement.
