Team member in the aerostructures section working to research and design major components of the aircraft, validation through FEA and CFD, through to composite manufacturing and testing.Responsibly managed the team’s funding, including developing budgets and spending priorities. Worked closely with management team to ensure team realises technical objectives and spending procedures maximise team potential.

Internship position working with both AMEs and LAMEs on a number of GA aircraft. I gained a number of valuable appreciation for the maintenance requirements of GA aircraft, particularly agricultural aircraft such as crop dusters. The hands-on application of theoretical knowledge greatly assisted the theoretical underpinning formed through my university studies.
