This was followed by 14 years as the CFO of a privately-owned company in the manufacturing and construction industry. As a founding member I help to grew the entity in a short time in a difficult economic climate to a turnover in excess of R150mil p/a and a staff compliment of 140 employees. With no knowledge of the soft drink or retail market I bought a cooldrink company in 2012 and revamped it and turned it profitable within six months. From 2015 till February 2020 I was employed on a contract basis as financial manager to a privately-owned group of companies involved in the sheet metal engineering market. I was fully responsible for the overall financial management, discipline and structure of the company. Recently during end 2020 begining of 2021 I helped a company in the airconditioning industry to stabilize their financial and administration situation after they reopened from the Covid lockdown. This was a chaling 4 month contract but I managed to stabilise the entity and helped them sail to calm waters.I also obtained Diplomas in Tax & VAT from UNISA (2002), and Financial Management from UCT (2016). I’m passionate about property investment and privately obtained experience in this field over the last 13 years.I look forward to a SME where I can invest my expertiese as FM or GM.
