As a recent graduate with a B.S in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, I am interested in opportunities within the accounting and finance fields. In particular, I would like a position that will utilize my skill set and give me exposure and experience in a fulfilling environment.After spending last summer interning in the Select Finance/ Small Commercial Dept. at Travelers Insurance, I gained experience working with a team in a large company. I am eager to make use of this experience and knowledge. My primary duties at Travelers were general data analytics using pivot tables and Vlookups. I also assisted with the monthly close.At the University of Connecticut I learned business fundamentals and communication skills that translate directly to the work place. I have the experience, skills, and drive to succeed in an accounting or finance position.I have just started my career by working in a temporary Supply Chain position at Acuren in the Danbury area.
