Working on a project on the Azure Networking Team.

Participating in a project aiming to predict malicious hacker activity based on online security forums.- Currently working on detecting malicious users in web forums with community detection graph algorithms and a basic form of topic analysis (github.com/Andre-Castro/HFuserProfiling) - Created a web tool for analyzing online security forums using Python Django framework (www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q--jzeai3g) & (github.com/Andre-Castro/summer17WebApp)- Created NLP tools that extract key strings from a database of over 750,000 text posts. Uses both Python and SQL: (github.com/Andre-Castro/HF-research-project)- Built a GUI using Java Swing to streamline the process of creating an SQL query for users unfamiliar with SQL

Teach a class about introductory level C++ to incoming freshman students. Meet with professor weekly to discuss lecture content and prepare quizzes, worksheets, and course material including practice test for students to take advantage of. Work in a team with other SI leaders using Github to efficiently collaborate our resources. Requires a high level of proficiency in C++.

Assist in management of incoming applications for the University of California Riverside's Masters and Doctorates program in both Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
