What happens when you throw a background of mixology, graphic design, music production, sales, events & promotion, branding, and customer service into one messy, non-alcoholic cocktail mix of work-experience? Hi, my name's Andre. I’m not Tom Daley, but I am diving into a new journey in the world of recruitment, with a special focus on the construction sector. And whiles I won’t leave you with a hangover (hopefully), I will give a healthy dose of generalised skills that allow me to design my way into a new industry with a fresh lens and perspective, to support both clients and candidates as a recruiter and artisan (note: not quite promising a Mona Lisa).Additionally, life has thrown me some curveballs. Not quite wrecking balls, but these perspective-changing boulders—mental health challenges, homelessness, and long-term unemployment—are experiences that have blessed me with a unique insight into a multiplicity of hurdles people face on the personal level and consequently in the job market. This fuels me with a fiery passion for helping candidates not just land jobs, but thrive in both their careers and personal lives whiles ensuring that employers find the perfect candidates who vibe with their values and culture.
