As the Media Manager for the Marin County Free Library, I lead the library’s marketing and communication efforts. I manage public messaging, media outreach, and guide my team to engage effectively with the community. I ensure consistent storytelling, oversee social media, press releases, and strategic communication plans to boost the library’s visibility and community participation.

As a freelance graphic designer, I have worked on numerous projects such as producing graphics and layout for printed training documentations, custom graphics for presentations and online training modules, programming online training modules, scriptwriting, editing videos that explain complex financial procedures, creating full animated videos, animated intros, logo animations, and producing sound design for videos and online training modules.

I served as graphic designer III and performed complex graphic work including designing, planning, illustrating and produced various graphic materials for internal and external communications programs. My work required contact with government and private entities. I worked closely with managers and team members to ensure department developed collateral adhered to the TxDOT brand. I planed and produced campaign material for print, web design, social media, video production and email communications.

Created new design themes for marketing and collateral materials. Collaborated with a creative team to design and produce computer-generated artwork for marketing and promotional materials. Consulted with clients and sales on design concepts and created interactive flash sites with Action Script 2.0. Collaborated creatively with CEO on high-profile projects.

Creative lead over management of design and production of magazines, newsletters, conference communication collateral, video production, website development, and other various graphics communication materials.

Worked closely with the sales manager, sales team, editors, and other design specialists to produce high-quality design ads for dozens of clients ranging from real estate, restaurants, dermatology, and night clubs in one of the Bay Areas most premiere weekly alternative newspapers.
