To report to the general manager and work closely with various departments including Sales, admin and production to ensure that cost and bill of materials are constantly Maintained and evolve in line with any required modifications or changes.Responsibilities• Accurate material standards calculations• Develop, calculate and maintain end item costing (product costing)• Ensure relevant surcharges are applied• Correct allocation of routings, calculation of accurate set-up and run times• Post Job Costing evaluation and corrective actions (adjust material usage variances and machine routing changes)• Attend after job costing meetings to evaluate material, surcharges and routing variances and make relevant adjustments.• Develop and maintain Bill of material elated knowledge/capability in line with systems & processes• Ensure correct cost price calculations per item.• Provide support for other key areas where necessary.• Provide price request for new business and trial request prices.• Maintain material cost based on economic batch quantities.• Maintain new item code schedule daily.• Create FG (finish goods) stock codes on request.• Assist with ad hoc assignments.• Report to GM and sales manager analysis on monthly sales report in conjunction with raw material usage per job.

• Prepare production KPI’s on a weekly and monthly basis• Participate in monthly preparation and analysis of WIP results• Perform production order variance and primary cost reporting investigations• Provide assistance to produce material usage variance analysis• Process and reconcile Energy transactions• Confirm raw material usage and reconcile major polymer raw materials• Monitor and audit storage locations• Prepare and capture annual budgets• Oversee areas budget• Assist in the production of financial packs and management account reports• Assist in preparing the correct physical and quantitative requirements of the Bill of Materials• Understand and comment on plant profitability and purchase price variances• Investigate variances and financial accounting stock in SAP• Ensure internal customer service levels are maintained• Provide support and encouragement for the achievement of team objectives• Process mixed waste allocation for BW conversion efficiency and production achievement reports weekly and monthly• Prepare and process month end journals• Prepare supporting schedules for monthly results
