During my career I have accumulated extensive experience in leading international socio-environmental institutions, focusing on building teams and on organizational development. This all starts with investing in the culture of the organization, followed by having clarity of purpose and strategy, adjusting business models and then implementing systems and routines to ensure tracking and accountability. Over the years I have also started to contribute as a Board member in different organizations, a role in which I believe I can add significant value.I have worked extensively with sustainability in supply chains that involve natural resources, primarily in agriculture and forestry, but also with some engagement in other sectors, like textiles, fisheries and mining. Much of this experience has been in multistakeholder organizations, in which the ability to work on innovations and build consensus based solutions is key.Here are some achievements of which I am particularly proud of in my professional life:- building teams and improving internal trust and collaboration- transforming FSC's business model from donor based to mostly self generated income- uniting the Renova Foundation around a purpose focused on results, defining its strategy and targets, and implementing tracking systems, which resulted in improved delivery in the remediation process- shaping the organizational culture at Renova around integrity, diversity, teamwork and results, with year on year growth in the internal climate surveys of the organization - people are always at the core - payment of 2 billion USD in indemnifications to more than 80,000 people, most of them in the informal economy- building the resettlements for communities impacted by the Samarco dam failure- establishing a new agreement and revenue sharing framework between the global and national organizations in FSC
