Accredited member of the South African Association for Pastoral work and has served on the executive. Co-founder and Managing Director of HospiVision, an NGO that provides counselling, spiritual care and physical support in the health care environment (established in 1998).Developed various training programs related to HIV/AIDS care and counselling which have been presented to caregivers as well as in businesses. Presented these courses as a lecturer at the Centre for Contextual Ministry (a division of Continuing Education at the University of Pretoria) and in the Department of Practical Theology (UP). At this department he has coordinated a Narrative research project focused on the challenges presented by HIV/AIDS. Supervisor for Masters and Doctoral students in pastoral therapy at the Department of Practical Theology at UNISA.
