Support and sustain Store, Regional, National and Global programs and specifications in Food Safety, Chemical, Pest, Training, and Good Organics principles.Responsible for supporting 25 stores in Southeast US.Partner with all levels of operational leadership in a collaborative and influential manner towards continuous improvement of food safety standards and operational excellence.Deliver clear, concise, well-organized communication and reports for leadership.Assist region with new initiatives that require food safety oversight by monitoring performance, site visits, and corrective action completion.Review, monitor, and provide guidance for all forms of store audits and reports from 3rd Party Food Safety Audit Provider, Pest Control Service Providers, Chemical Providers and city, county and state Health Inspections.Implement food safety and related training.Develop collaborative relationships with regional and store leadership, regional support teams, and third-party auditors to ensure an aligned and integrated approach to compliance, maintenance, and educational activities.Collaborate with store leadership in establishing and revising ongoing pro-active Corrective Action Plans to support stores in meeting and/or exceeding all deliverables in a timely and effective manner.Assist Southeast region with regulatory communication for store openings, plan review and permitting process.Engage regions and stores with the implementation of technology that promotes food safety and enables improved Food Safety deliverables.Lead RISE calls and walks (Rapid Improvement Store Engagement) to engage store leadership on the importance of food safety store processes and policies to elevate store food safety culture and accountability, supporting the resolution and root cause analysis for RISE stores, including swift execution of Corrective Action Plans and sustained improvement.Provide store presence as necessary for Retail Food Safety and Incident Management support.

Inspected, evaluated and enforced compliance with environmental regulations at North Carolina DHHS regulated public facilities including restaurants, institutions, childcare centers nursing homes, tattoo parlors and swimming pools.Ensured compliance and communicated findings with operators using education and enforcement strategies to prevent or reduce risk of illness or injury.Investigated complaints and disease outbreaks to reduce or eliminate the risk of additional spread or injury.Educated external partners (operators, managers, etc.) by synthesizing technical knowledge.Provided internal guidance to entry-level environmental health specialists throughout their training period.
