With over 17 years of experience in scientific research and academia, I specialize in mycotoxicology, Food Safety, and Agri-food engineering. As Chair of the Research Master's Program in Food Chemistry and Head of the Laboratory of Mycotoxicology and Food Safety at Saint Joseph University, I bring extensive expertise in mycotoxicology, food science, and environmental and process engineering.I hold an Habilitation à diriger des Recherches (HDR) and a Doctorate in Environmental and Process Engineering, focusing on Microbial Engineering, from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse. My academic journey also includes a Master's in Agri-Food Engineering from the Lebanese University, a Master's in Food Chemistry and a Master's degree in Physiology from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.I actively contribute to the advancement of food safety through my roles on the Food Safety Task Force Committee at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the Technical Committee for the Lebanese Ministry of Economy and Trade, and the LIBNOR Committee for Chemical Contaminants Regulation.
